The short answer
Oud is a deep, woody, slightly smoky note, prized in Indian and Middle Eastern perfumery. It pairs well with leather, amber, spice and musk, and suits evenings and cooler weather. Forwills uses oud in NIGHTMODE car perfume, the Dhyana room mist, Oud Noir car spray and the Musk Oud room freshener.
What does oud smell like?
Oud is woody and resinous with a dark, sometimes smoky edge. On its own it is intense, so it is often softened with amber, musk or spice.

Oud is not listed among the notes of the four Signature EDPs. For a dark, warm EDP, Moon has cocoa, amber, deep woods and dark musk.
